How to switch to a new BlackBerry

To transfer information from your current device to your new BlackBerry® smartphone, complete these steps:

1. Connect your BlackBerry to your computer and launch the Desktop Manager application.
2. Click the device switch wizard icon on the main menu.
3. Click the start button under “Switch BlackBerry devices" or "Switch from another device."
4. Follow the on screen instructions to copy the data from your existing device.
5. Click OK.
6. The data will be transferred over from your current device.
7. Once the files have been copied, connect your new BlackBerry smartphone and follow the on screen instructions to transfer the files to your new device.
