Yes you are right. Since OVI is absolutely dedicated for Nokia phones, so commonly when you found Nokia apps out there you will find it in OVI for FREE or even paid version.
Maybe apps developer also like to display their app in OVI even they have on their own site.
So what you get in their site or OVI is a same app.
I went from iPhone to Android specifically for Swype, but SlideIt is even better. The word picker bar is excellent, and the ability to switch to a standard keyboard on the fly is very helpful when you are type passwords with complex characters. I Love IT!
