How to find a place by coordinates using Nokia Map

Looking at all my previous posting will be useful now to find a particular place if you have such as a built-in GPS Nokia Phone, tested by N82 and N95 8GB.
All you have to do is just a simple trick, utilizing all you have in your mobile phone, no other application required.
just goes through these steps:

• MENU>TOOLS>CONNECTIVITY/UTILITY--- i forgot the place, mine already displaced, sorry>LANDMARKS>OPTIONS>NEW LANDMARK
• ENTER MANUALLY
• NAME--- set a place name as you wish
• LATITUDE--- by default format in decimal degrees
• LONGITUDE--- use # to set . (dot)
• OPTION
• SHOW ON MAP
• CHOOSE MAPS--- nokia map will show you the coordinates displaying it in map
• OPTIONS
• DRIVE TO--- if you have navigation license, nokia map will navigate you to that place

So your landmark (place) will be stored, you can see it by Landmarks or Nokia maps directly.

1. Get a name any place that you want to go to, from your fiends or from traveling guidance
2. Grab coordinates of that place, see my previous postings.
3. Store it and navigate there.

After you read this my post, then share to your friend and tell a coordinates to inform him the place instead of describing by detail in a long speech, bla...bla...bla..., so save your words, enjoy!

How to find coordinates of a particular place

It is probably very rare, but as recently lot of mobile phone mounted with Global Positioning System or GPS, and it could be one of them is yours. so one time you may need to get coordinates of particular place before you go on board and start your journey.
I will share you a simplest way. Google Maps is very common and famous application that you can grab coordinates.

Method 1
Google Maps, yes that's right you don't even to have account, sign in and make some configuration really you don't need at all. After you have the site, you have to go -Get Directions- link. click it once then you'll have a pop up small window with two empty column A and B, A for Start Address and B for End Address. Go to the map, zoom in to your desired place, right-click the point and select Direction to here, then you'll have a green B small pin on your map and a very unique number shown on your B or End address column, as Latitude and Longitude coordinates separated by comma.
Method 2
If you have Google account you may have to try this Add-On. Position Finder simply displays you coordinates at your Google Maps. Press Ad it to Maps button to have it on your Google Maps. Open up the map, search any place you like, then just with a single click of your mouse/pointer, you'll get coordinates as simple as it.
Method 3
All you have to do is just go to itouchmap and simply play around your mouse and take a look at the bottom side, those coordinates are there.

Method 4
Visiting this site, you will be served with a high-tech thing that bring you to any coordinates as you move your mouse.

Mencari lokasi atau tempat dengan menggunakan koordinat (coordinates)

Kalau ada teman cerita-cerita tentang Global Positioning System atau lebih dikenal dengan istilah GPS, maka mencari tempat, koordinat, adalah hal yang biasa dibicarakan. Memang akan lebih mudah kalau kita mencari satu tempat berdasarkan koordinat dan alamat daripada harus cerita jalan sana jalan sini, belok sana belok sini hanya untuk mencapai satu tempat saja, apalagi anda belum tahu sama sekali tentang daerah tersebut. Saya akan berbagi tipsnya disini.
wikimapia adalah situs yang sangat bermanfaat untuk mengantarkan anda kesemua tempat diseluruh dunia.
Masuk kesitusnya, lihat pojok kanan atas, akan anda temukan kolom dengan tombol "search". Klik tombol tsb, maka akan muncul tiga tab, all, city, coordinates. Pencarian dengan menggunakan alamat bisa ada lakukan begitu juga dengan koordinat. Klik tab all atau coordinates, ketik koordinat yg anda maksud, sebagai contoh, anda orang baru dan ingin bepergian sekedar untuk liburan akhir pekan, dan teman anda merekomendasikan satu tempat contoh Doha City Center dengan koordinat 25.32580N degrees, 51.53051E degrees (format decimal degrees).
maka isi pada kolom tsb dengan 25.32580N, 51.53051E lalu tekan tombol search dan "ta-da"...
Anda bisa perjelas posisi tsb dengan zoom in atau out, kalau anda punya koordinat dengan format lain, anda bisa gunakan tool ini, jadi traveling tanpa GPS, tak masalah....

Mengapa koordinat? karena simple, dibanding cerita bla...bla...bla. Lalu siapa yang mau ngasih kita alamat berupa koordinat...hehehe...kita akan bahas lagi!

How to find a place by coordinates or address

If your friends telling you about latest Global Positioning System (GPS) technology, finding a place, coordinates, will be common to be heard. It will be quite simple to share by coordinates rather than to describe...bla...bla...bla...where exactly the place is. So this time i am talking about it.
Wikimapia is a very amazing site to take you around the world to reach every point you like. Just open up the site, have a look to your right hand side on top corner, you will find "search" field.
On clicking, it will take you to search a place by all, city and coordinates. Click coordinates tab, type a coordinate that your friend shared to you, i preferred to put in decimal degrees, just for example your friend said a better place to spend your money in Doha is City Center and he sent: 25.32580N degrees, 51.53051E degrees

So you will type like this 25.32580N, 51.53051E than press search and "bingo"...then you can zoom it in or out to ensure that is exactly the place you have to go.
If you have in a different format of coordinate, you may go this converter, so exploring without GPS handheld is no problem...
